Labs

Many academic programming courses now feature closed labs, where students meet for an hour or two and have to complete some assignment while in the lab. An instructor (often a TA) is usually present to give a short introduction, provide guidance, and answer questions. The Labs in ProgramLive contain material that may be used in these guided, closed laboratory sessions.

ProgramLive Labs are also good for self-study. Doing them all is a great way to get practice with the concepts involved. The topics covered in these labs range from "The assignment statement" and "Casting among integer types" to "Executing a while loop" and "Rectangular arrays".
